Clarence Dyer & Cohen was a proud sponsor of a benefit organized by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Supreme Court’s watershed decision in Gideon v. Wainwright. In Gideon, the Court identified a constitutional right to the assistance of counsel in criminal cases. CD&C is a strong supporter of the principles enunciated in Gideon and regularly accepts court appointments to represent indigent defendants in federal criminal cases.
